ABOUT THE FOUNDER

“Kia Ora (Hi in Maori language), I’m Bruce Li, Founder & Director of BTurf”

As the founder of BTurf, I’m passionate about the New Zealand land-based sector and its high-quality agricultural products. My journey began in China, where I developed a deep appreciation for the natural world. Moving to New Zealand, I was inspired by NZ Aotearoa’s pristine environment and commitment to sustainable agriculture. (Aotearoa, is NZ’s Maori name, it means land of the long white cloud)

BTurf is dedicated to providing good animal and pet feed agri-products, primarily pasture/plant-based made predominantly from NZ lucerne (also referred to as Alfalfa) or ryegrass or hay). We export & source these products directly from New Zealand to ensure good quality. Our goal is to make these NZ products accessible to consumers domestically, and to China and to Asia.

Our team, including my wife Lisa, works diligently to streamline admin, and ensure efficient export/delivery to our customers.

Beyond business, I’m an avid sports enthusiast, particularly Rugby. I cherish spending quality time with my family and instilling a love for sports in my two children of whom loves Judo and Rugby.

Together, we’re committed to fostering strong relationships with our suppliers and customers, and contributing to the growth of both the New Zealand economy through global connections and collaborations together.
